Description

A very short integration of the Rosette Nebula core in bicolor with RGB stars, using the data from the short on our website.

Overall I was very impressed with the amount of signal captured in such a short amount of time of just 4 hours for the nebula, and some extra time to obtain the RGB stars. There are a lot of different ways you can process this, which is something we love about Narrowband imaging. For this, I tried to keep a purplish color towards the center as that is more aligned with what you will see if you just shot it in broadband color. The stars came out perfectly using the 9 x 2 mins paradigm which we will likely continue to use on other projects.

We have plans to do a longer integration of the full Rosette as a 4 panel mosaic with this same gear, so stay tuned for that.
